It is best practice to follow the care instructions listed in your garments.

Here are some general tips to keep your garments in good condition:

• Use a mild washing detergent that is specifically formulated to be gentle and less harsh on clothes and skin.
• Use a laundry bag to protect more delicate garments from rubbing against other items in the wash or getting snagged.
• Wash and dry garments turned inside out. This protects the fabric surface from being damaged and prevents the colour from fading.
• Use a lower spin speed to limit the risk of your garment being damaged or stretched. A lower spin speed will also stop the laundry load from getting over-creased, meaning less ironing required.
• Air dry out of the sun if possible. Avoid putting garments in the dryer to avoid any shrinkage. Hang non-stretchy items on hangers to dry, and lay knits and knitwear flat.
• Some fabrics can get shiny or might scorch easily while being ironed. If you iron them on the inside, they get every bit as smooth, but you don't risk changing the appearance of the fabric.
• Store your knitwear folded in a drawer or shelf. Hanging knitwear can cause the shape and fit to distort.
